Brent Noyes Appointed by School Board as Principal of Arroyo Vista Elementary School
At a Special Board Meeting on July 21, the Governing Board unanimously appointed Mr. Brent Noyes as Principal of Arroyo Vista Elementary School.
Mr. Noyes comes to South Pasadena Unified from Las Virgenes Unified School District, where he served as an elementary principal for the past 11 years. Prior to his time in Las Virgenes, Mr. Noyes spent six years as an elementary principal in La Canada and 15 years teaching at Glendale Unified.
Mr. Noyes has a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Education from USC, and is a 2009 Appointee to the USC Board of Governors representing Rossier School of Education, and served on the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors from 2006-2008.
Mr. Noyes expressed his excitement and anticipation in joining the District and getting to know the staff and community of Arroyo Vista. He will begin officially on August 5.
